Major League Baseball team Texas Rangers has secured a five-year sponsorship deal with Korean automotive company Hyundai which will extend through the 2018 season.
As the Rangers’ official automotive partner, Hyundai will benefit from a number of high-profile branding opportunities.
The former Batter’s Eye Club, an indoor seating area in centrefield at the Globe Life Park in Arlington ballpark, will undergo a complete rebrand and operate as the Hyundai Club. This includes extensive Hyundai signage and branded HD televisions.
The left-field side roof of the Hyundai Club will feature the company’s Genesis model and a back-lit logo that will illuminate each time the Rangers make a hit.
The financial terms of the agreement between Hyundai and Texas Rangers were not disclosed.
