Major League Baseball franchise Texas Rangers has entered into a partnership with data centre services provider CyrusOne.
The deal will run for five years, from 2014 until 2018.
CyrusOne, which is headquartered in Texas, will become an official partner of the team.
Scott Brueggeman, chief marketing officer of CyrusOne, said: “We have a strong commitment to Texas, and in particular Dallas, as this market is our global headquarters, and three of our premier data centres are located right here in Dallas.”
Texas Rangers lost 14-10 to Philadelphia Phillies yesterday (Monday) in their opening game of the 2014 MLB season.
