Premium drinks business Diageo Australia has extended its title sponsorship deal for the Australian Masters, with the company’s Talisker brand set to back the 2013 edition of the golf tournament.
The Scotch whisky brand lent its name to the 2012 tournament, which was won by Australia’s Adam Scott, and will return for this year’s event, which is set to be played for the first time at the Royal Melbourne Golf Club from November 14-17.
Diageo has brokered the agreement with Australian Masters event owner and promoter, the IMG agency.
