Danone-owned mineral water brand Evian has entered into a partnership with Swiss Tennis, the sport’s governing body in the country.
Evian has agreed a three-year deal with the organisation, which becomes effective immediately and will conclude at the end of the 2018 tennis season. The partnership begins with the Swiss Junior Championships, which get underway tomorrow (Friday).
The deal with Swiss Tennis further cements Evian’s position within the global game. The company also has partnerships with the Wimbledon and US Open grand slam tournaments, and Swiss No.2 and current Roland Garros champion Stanislas Wawrinka.
“This commitment with Swiss Tennis underscores our commitment to the sport of tennis, which is also, thanks to our ambassador Stan Wawrinka (pictured), extremely popular in Switzerland,” Stefan Goetschi, head of sales at Evian-Volvic Suisse, said.
