The Swiss Football Association (SFV) has extended its partnership with German sportswear giant Puma.
Puma will continue to be the SFV’s kit partner for the next five years, in a deal that will culminate in the 2020 Uefa European Championships.
As part of the deal, Puma upholds its marketing rights and will continue to receive exposure on the SFV’s official digital channels.
The renewal coincides with the release of Switzerland’s home kit for next year’s European Championships in France. The new kit will be worn for the first time during the friendly against Slovakia on Friday.
“The team’s qualification for the European Championships shows its strength in international football,” Johan Adamsson, director of global sports marketing and sports licensing at Puma, said. “For Puma, the SFV remains an important partner in the field of innovation and design.”
The SFV first teamed up with Puma in 1998.
