Superbest Power energises Malaysian FA Cup

Health food and beverage company Superbest Power has been named the title sponsor of Malaysian club football’s FA Cup.

The company, which was formed and is headquartered in Damansara Damai, Selangor Darul Ehsan, has signed a three-year deal with the competition. The FA Cup will take on the official title of the Superbest Power Piala FA for its 2016, 2017 and 2018 editions.

As part of the agreement, the cup will launch a new logo that will incorporate the Superbest Power brand of coffee energy drinks. The company will receive entitlements to promote Malaysian football throughout the duration of the deal. The two parties will also team up on marketing campaigns such as engagement activities during FA Cup matches.

Kamal Mohd Nor, Superbest Power’s chief executive, said: “We know that football in Malaysia has vast potential to grow, and we see the FA Cup as a great opportunity to take local football to the next level and the Superbest Power brand can be a big part of that initiative.”

Superbest Power’s deal with the Football Association of Malaysia was brokered by the MP & Silva agency.
