Insurance company State Farm has renewed its sponsorship of League of Legends esports events until 2021.
The deal covers the LCS (Legends Championship Series), three global events in the shape of the World Championship, Mid-Season Invitational and All-Star Event, and the LoL College Championship.
State Farm started sponsoring League of Legends in North America last year. The new deal will cover the 2021 World Championship, which will be held in a to-be-determined North American location.
Under the new agreement, State Farm will sponsor the analyst desk during LCS broadcasts and all English-language global broadcasts of global events. The company will also benefit from integrated in-broadcast and in-stream content, and support the Assist of the Week, I’m Helping and Level-Up segments.
State Farm also becomes a presenting sponsor of the LoL College Championship. Additionally, the extension includes digital ‘cheerboard’ printers that will be created at all LCS events, while ‘cospitality’ tents will also launch at finals and international events, allowing fans to share their passion for cosplay.
