English Super League rugby league club St Helens has signed a shirt sponsorship deal with pre-owned goods retailer Cash Converters.
As a principal partner of St Helens, Cash Converters’ branding will appear on the front of the club’s shirts. The deal will cover the 2018 Super League season.
Cash Converters will also work with the club and its foundation on a range of promotional initiatives.
St Helens’ general manager, Dave Hutchinson, said: “This is a significant partnership for the Saints and we are proud to have Cash Converters on board. Cash Converters are an established, internationally recognised brand and the partnership continues their investment not only in sport but in their local communities too.”
He added: “The synergy between ourselves as a community club and Cash Converters is even more enhanced by the fact they will be donating £6,000 (€6,700/$7,800) in total to our community clubs. We’re excited about the future and look forward to more initiatives like this going forward.”
Cash Converters has sponsored English Championship football club Hull City and the Professional Darts Corporation in the past, and is a current partner of Scottish Premiership football team Motherwell.
