National high performance sports agency UK Sport has announced a four-year partnership with Sportscover.
The sport and leisure insurance specialist was unveiled as UK Sport’s presenting partner at the organisation’s World Class Performance Conference, which began in Manchester this week.
Under the agreement, Sportscover also becomes the presenting partner of UK Sport’s Gold Event Series Workshops and Governance events until 2017.
Sportscover is the third organisation to become an official partner to UK Sport since the London 2012 Olympic Games and sits alongside research and innovation partner BAE Systems and health insurance partner Bupa.
The revenues from these sponsorships will be used to supplement UK Government and National Lottery funding received by UK Sport to support British athletes in their preparations for events such as the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games and Rio 2016.
