Electric utility company Iberdrola has agreed to extend its sponsorship of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) through 2016.
The deal covers Spain’s national football teams, including the men’s under-21 and women’s teams.
Bilbao-based Iberdrola has sponsored the Spanish national team since 2009 and the new terms run through to Uefa Euro 2016 in France, where Spain will aim to win a third consecutive European Championship.
Spain continues its qualification bid for Euro 2016 when it faces Belarus in Huelva tomorrow (Saturday). Financial terms for the renewal with Iberdrola were not disclosed.
