US basketball equipment supplier Spalding has renewed its long-running partnership with the French National Basketball League (LNB).
The two parties have agreed a six-season extension, which will cover the 2016-17 to 2021-22 campaigns. Spalding has been an LNB partner since 1988.
Under the agreement, Spalding’s TF-1000 Legacy ball will remain the league’s official ball during the 2016-17 season. The ball will be redesigned to incorporate the French tri-color flag and will be used in the Pro A and Pro B leagues – the top two tiers of basketball in the country. Spalding will also develop a range of products for amateur clubs.
The company last month agreed a long-term extension to its partnership with Euroleague Basketball, the organisation which oversees continental club competitions in Europe.
