Temporary structures manufacturer Seoul Tent has agreed a deal to sponsor the 2018 winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, which will take place in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
Seoul Tent will serve as the official temporary event structures supplier for the Olympic Games, which run from February 9-25.
Under the agreement, Seoul Tent will provide financial support to Games organisers, while supplying temporary structures, including about 600 tents, for event operations.
The building of temporary event structures will begin this month, with more than 100 Seoul Tent staff members to deliver the project.
Seoul Tent will also benefit from a range of marketing rights, which the company will be able to use in its own customer engagement and activation initiatives around the Games.
Lee Hee-beom, president of the Pyeongchang Organising Committee for the 2018 Olympic and Paralympic winter Games (POCOG), said: “We thank Seoul Tent for their support as an official supplier of Pyeongchang 2018 and are delighted to see more and more local companies becoming connected to the Games.
“We value their assistance in adding important space and facilities to all our venues which will help us cater to all our client groups who will be here in Pyeongchang in a little more than 10 months from now.”
