Private aviation company Sentient Jet has agreed a multi-year deal to become the title sponsor of the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile grade one thoroughbred race, along with the exclusive private aviation partner of the Breeders’ Cup US horse racing showpiece.
The $2m (€1.46m) prize race, part of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships, will be named the Sentient Jet Breeders’ Cup Juvenile. The terms of the sponsorship deal were not disclosed.
Sentient Jet previously held the naming rights to the race in 2011 – the final year of a then three-year association with the Breeders’ Cup World Championships, under which it was also the title sponsor of the Breeders’ Cup Sprint and Filly & Mare Sprint.
As part of the new deal, Sentient Jet and the Breeders’ Cup will collaborate to develop media and entertainment programmes to support the meeting, with local and national activations. Sentient will conduct related hospitality events throughout the year and offer customised travel and flight services to Breeders’ Cup constituents.
