DIY retail chain Bauhaus has signed up as a commercial partner of German 1.Bundesliga football club Schalke 04 in a deal that will run through the 2013-14 season.
Bauhaus has been added as a second-tier sponsor of the club, replacing online travel agency Fluege.de.
Bauhaus will benefit from branding exposure on the area in front of the players’ tunnel as well as on promotional displays at Schalke’s Veltins-Arena home stadium. The deal was brokered by the Infront Sports and Media agency.
