Korean electronics brand Samsung has entered into a partnership with the South African Rugby Union (SARU) and will benefit from brand exposure on the national team’s shorts as part of the agreement.
The two-year deal names Samsung as the official electronics partner of the SARU and the national team.
Samsung’s branding will feature on South Africa’s shorts for the first time during tomorrow’s (Saturday’s) match against Australia at Ellis Park Stadium.
As part of the agreement, the national team and SARU will also use the latest Samsung consumer electronic products to enhance performance.
