French Ligue 1 football club Saint-Etienne has agreed a partnership with brokerage firm Investing Area.
The company has been named an official partner of the club for the next two years, in a deal that will cover the remainder of the 2015-16 Ligue 1 season and the 2016-17 campaign.
As part of the deal, Investing Area’s branding will appear on Saint-Etienne’s playing shorts. The firm will also receive in-stadium advertising at the club’s Stade Geoffroy-Guichard home.
Roland Romeyer, president of St-Etienne’s supervisory board, said: “This deal reveals that AS St-Etienne is an ambitious and attractive club whose reputation is powerful. Our outfit only contains the leading groups or companies in their sector of activity.”
The deal, brokered by the Lagardère Sports agency, marks Investing Area’s first sports partnership.
