Transport group SMRT Commercial has entered into a partnership with the S.League, the top tier of domestic football in Singapore.
The two parties have agreed a three-year deal, which will cover the 2016, 2017 and 2018 S.League seasons.
As part of the deal, a specially-designed concept train featuring images of players and team badges has been developed by SMRT. Localised advertising campaigns for specific clubs will be organised at train stations, while the partnership also includes a video content agreement that grants SMRT permission to show goals and highlights packages.
“As the exclusive media and digital partner, we will be rolling out many innovative and interactive programmes and campaigns to rally and engage everyone who journeys with SMRT,” Dawn Low, SMRT commercial managing director, said.
The 2016 S.League season gets underway tomorrow (Saturday) with the Community Shield match between reigning champion Brunei DPMM and cup-winner Albirex Niigata.
