The Russian Football Union has extended its partnership with German sportswear company Adidas.
The new four-year deal runs until 2022 and has been signed ahead of Russia’s staging of this summer’s Fifa World Cup, which runs from June 14 to July 15.
Adidas will continue to serve as the official technical partner of all Russian national teams as part of the new agreement. Adidas has supplied Russia’s kit since 2008.
RFU acting president Alexander Alayev said: “Our cooperation with this company also provides for a stronger marketing potential of the Russian national team.”
Russia kicks off its home World Cup with a match against Saudi Arabia on June 14. It has also been drawn alongside Egypt and Uruguay in Group A.
