Japanese gas appliances manufacturer Rinnai has agreed a deal to sponsor the 2015 Fifa Club World Cup football tournament.
Rinnai has been named an official sponsor of this year’s edition of the tournament, which takes place in Japan from December 10-20.
As part of the deal, the company will receive pitch-side advertising at matches and its logo will also appear on event signage, Fifa’s official website and tournament marketing materials.
Susan Mittelbrun, vice-president of marketing at Rinnai America, said: “Rinnai has a long history of sponsoring a variety of competitive sports as an effective way to reach homeowners, dealers and installers.”
The Fifa Club World Cup is competed for by the winners of the six continental football competitions and the current champion of the host nation.
Spanish LaLiga club Real Madrid won last year’s tournament in Morocco.
