The Los Angeles Rams NFL American football franchise has entered into a partnership with financial services company Wells Fargo.
Under the agreement, Wells Fargo will sponsor the Rams’ ‘Community Player of the Week’ initiative. The length of the agreement was not disclosed, but the deal will at least cover the 2016 NFL season, which begins at the weekend.
The community initiative rewards a Rams player and a Wells Fargo team member each week for their excellence in community service. Wells Fargo will also release Rams-themed debit and prepaid card designs for supporters as part of the deal.
The team, formerly known as the St Louis Rams, begins its first season back in the Californian city with an away game at the San Francisco 49ers on September 12.
