Australian NRL rugby league club the Canberra Raiders has agreed a shirt sponsorship deal with security protection firm TTM Security, while Korean automotive company Kia has entered into a partnership with the league’s Auckland Nines competition.
TTM Security has been named a corporate and jersey sponsor of the Raiders and its logo will appear on the front of the club’s playing shirts. The length of the deal was not disclosed.
“The Raiders have a great brand around Canberra and we really see the value in having a partnership with them,” David Mailau, managing director of TTM Security, said. “It will help push our brand to a new level from the exposure we receive.”
Meanwhile, Kia has been named an official sponsor and the official vehicle and automotive partner of the NRL’s 2016 Auckland Nines tournament.
As part of the agreement, Kia will run events and competitions for supporters in the build up to, and during, the tournament, which takes place next year from February 6-7.
Each NRL team competes in the nine-a-side tournament, which was introduced last year and takes place before the regular season gets underway. South Sydney Rabbitohs are the current champion.
