The Qatar Football Association has agreed a one-year deal with Aamal to sponsor the men's national team and various QFA competitions during the 2013-14 season.
Under the deal, Aamal will sponsor the HH Emiri Cup, Sheikh Jassim Cup, Qatar Gas League and Qatar Futsal League, in addition to the Qatar national side.
Aamal’s Qatari businesses stretch across industrial manufacturing, trading and distribution, property and managed services.
“We’re determined to play a proactive and responsible role in promoting sports,” Aamal’s chairman, Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani, said. “The development of sport in Qatar is an important objective of the Qatar National Vision 2030 and is highlighted by Qatar hosting the 2022 Fifa World Cup.”
