The forthcoming Indian Super League football competition has announced German sportswear giant Puma as its official match ball partner.
Puma’s Fifa-approved EvoPower 1 ball will be the official match ball of the 2014 Indian Super League, while its balls will also be provided for warm-up and training sessions.
Special edition branded match balls will be produced by Puma for the knockout stages of the competition, with all the company’s ISL products set to retail at Puma stores.
Clubs will be supplied with Puma bags in which to store match balls and the brand will also provide for promotional giveaways in association with the ISL.
The ISL deal enhances Puma’s presence in Indian football, where it partners I-League champion Bengaluru.
