German sportswear giant Puma has extended its partnership with the Ivory Coast Football Federation national governing body.
Although terms of the new deal were not disclosed, it was confirmed that the extended partnership will come into effect from January 2015.
Under the agreement, Puma will continue to supply the Ivory Coast national team with playing kit, training apparel and other equipment.
Puma has also retained the rights to produce licensed replica kit and fan merchandise.
In addition, Puma will continue to work with the governing body on a range of commercial and marketing activations.
Puma has been an official partner of the Ivory Coast Football Federation since 2005.
Christian Voigt, senior head of global sports marketing at Puma, said: “Puma has a special relationship with African football, and we are very happy to renew our contract with the Ivory Coast Football Federation. This partnership is an important one for Puma, as we continue to strengthen our position in sport.”
