South African football team University of Pretoria has announced a three-year partnership with insurance firm Workerslife ahead of the 2014-15 Premier Soccer League season.
Effective immediately, Workerslife becomes the main sponsor of the club, which is also known as the AmaTuks.
Workerslife is the flagship insurance and assurance brand of the PGC group – the investment arm of South Africa’s Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union – and will provide specific services for AmaTuks supporters under the collaboration. AmaTuks finished 11th in the 2013-14 Premiership, the top division of the PSL system.
Club chief executive Rendani Mulaudzi said: “This is a moment we have been aspiring for since our promotion into the Premier Soccer League. We have dreamt big, gave a lot, stayed hopeful, created greatness, chased harder and believed in AmaTuks.”
