Portuguese Football Federation lands Chinese partner

The Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) has entered into a partnership with Chinese drinks producer Hangzhou Wahaha Group.

The length of the agreement was not disclosed but it will cover this year’s Fifa World Cup in Russia, where Portugal has been drawn alongside Spain, Iran and Morocco in Group B.

According to the Yutang Sports website, Wahaha will launch online and offline campaigns to promote the Portuguese national team.

The company will also be granted use of player images on its products, as well as in print and video advertisements.
