The Portland Timbers North American Major League Soccer franchise has extended a deal with main shirt sponsor Alaska Airlines.
Terms of the multi-year agreement were not disclosed, but it was confirmed that Alaska Airlines branding will continue to appear on the front of the Timbers’ playing jerseys and other club apparel.
The company began its support of the club as a founding partner and has served as its main shirt sponsor since the Timbers joined MLS in 2011.
Alaska Airlines will also retain its role as the official airline of the team and serve as the presenting sponsor for all MLS Timbers youth football camps.
The firm will also continue to support various club community initiatives, such as the Portland Timbers Community Fund and Stand Together Week.
In addition, Alaska Airlines will retain a Timbers-themed plane as part of its fleet and will also offer special discounts and promotions to Timbers fans.
