German automotive company Porsche has extended its partnership with the German Tennis Federation (DTB) ahead of the country’s participation in the final of this year’s Fed Cup women’s national team competition.
The new deal will run for three years, from 2015 until 2017.
Under the extended agreement, Porsche will retain its role as a top-tier premium partner of the DTB, having served in the role since 2012.
Porsche will also continue its support of German women tennis players such as Angelique Kerber, Andrea Petkovic and Anna-Lena Groenefeld.
Germany will face the Czech Republic in the 2014 Fed Cup final, which will take place at the O2 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic from November 8-9. It is the first time Germany has reached the national team tournament showpiece since 1992.
