Polish brewery Okocim has reached a two-year deal to become an official sponsor of the country’s national football team.
Under the agreement with the Polish Football Association (PZPN), Okocim will sponsor the national team throughout its qualification bid for Uefa Euro 2016 and, if successful, at the tournament in France.
Financial terms were not disclosed but Okocim acquires the rights to use its designation and Poland’s team crest and marks in marketing campaigns.
Okocim will benefit from exposure on television commercials during matches, as well as on press conference backdrops, tickets and match programmes.
PZPN has signed sponsorship agreements for the same period with tablets, smartphones and computer accessories manufacturer Modecom, financial services firm Alior Bank and betting company STS over recent months.
Okocim joins Alior Bank, Biedronka and Cinkciarz in the PZPN’s second tier of sponsors, below main partner Orange.
Poland secured a 7-0 win over Gibraltar in its first Euro 2016 qualifier and hosts world champions Germany on October 11.
