The Polish Football Association (PZPN) has extended its partnership with oil and lubricants producer Grupa Lotos, its main sponsor.
Lotos will retain its position as the main sponsor of the Polish national team and will also support football development initiatives in the country.
The new agreement will run for four years until the end of 2022. The two parties’ previous partnership had been due to expire at the end of 2018.
The partnership will see Lotos continue to be the main sponsor the Polish U21 national team, and the agreement now includes top-tier sponsorship of the women’s national team for the first time. Lotos will also be granted the use of images of Polish footballers in advertising campaigns.
PZPN president Zbigniew Boniek said: “The extension of cooperation with Lotos confirms that investment in the Polish association allows our sponsors to achieve their business goals, and the PZPN is perceived as a reliable partner with whom it is worth joining for many years.”
The new deal will cover the European Championships in 2020, which will be staged in cities across Europe, and the 2022 Fifa World Cup in Qatar.
Lotos has been a PZPN partner for three years.
