Cross-border payments provider Western Union Business Solutions has entered into a partnership with the PGA of Australia golf organisation and agreed a deal to sponsor the Australian PGA Championship event.
The deal, the length of which was not disclosed, names Western Union as the official foreign exchange partner of the body and an official partner of the Australian PGA Championship.
Under the agreement, Western Union will receive hospitality packages and golfing experiences during this year’s event, which will take place at RACV Royal Pines Resort in Queensland from December 1-4.
Both parties will also launch a digital marketing campaign to promote the partnership during the event, which is co-sanctioned by the PGA Tour of Australasia and the European Tour.
