The Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) has entered into a partnership with Lima-based financial services company BBVA Continental.
The five-year deal runs until December 31, 2022 and will result in BBVA Continental providing financial support to the FPF’s Plan de Menores youth initiative.
The deal names BBVA Continental as a silver sponsor of Peru’s national teams, and a gold sponsor and naming-rights partner of the Reto Regional tournaments for U14 and U16 players.
As part of the agreement, customers will receive a series of benefits relating to the national team, such as pre-sale tickets for games. BBVA Continental will also issue a co-branded debit card.
In addition, an exclusive digital space will be launched where customers can acquire FPF merchandise.
The deal comes after Peru earlier this month qualified for its first Fifa World Cup since 1982 with a 2-0 play-off win over New Zealand.
