Chinese sportswear manufacturer Peak has agreed a kit partnership with the Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB).
The agreement covers the 2018 winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, the 2020 summer Games in Tokyo and the 2022 winter Games in Beijing.
Peak will provide kit for Brazilian athletes and officials at the three events and replaces US brand Nike as the COB’s kit supplier.
“The BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) have become important powers to promote the development of the world economy, push for changes in world order and maintain international peace and stability,” Peak president Xu Jingnan said, according to the Union.China website.
“Therefore, deepening the partnerships with those countries has become a key opportunity for Peak’s international expansion plan.”
