The Air France airline has agreed a deal to become an official supplier of the Paris 2024 bid for the summer Olympic and Paralympic Games.
As part of the deal, the Paris 2024 logo will feature on Air France planes during the campaign through to the International Olympic Committee’s host city decision in Lima, Peru, in September 2017. The airline will also promote the bid through an integrated marketing campaign, in airport lounges, and via its in-flight magazine.
“Millions of international tourists visit Paris each year and we are very proud of our status as a global travel destination that has great cultural, artistic and sporting appeal,” Paris 2024 co-chairman Bernard Lapasset said. “Air France is also a global company that conveys the image of France with its international outlook, aspirational values and first-class expertise in business.”
Paris 2024 holds official partner deals with LVMH, AccorHotels, BNP Paribas, Caisse des Depots, Elior Group, FDJ, JCDecaux, La Poste, MAIF, Orange, RATP and Vivendi.
Paris faces competition from Los Angeles, Rome and Budapest in its bid to stage the Games.
