Welsh Pro12 rugby union club Ospreys has entered into a partnership with sports apparel company Canterbury.
The four-year partnership will cover the 2017-18 to 2020-21 seasons.
Canterbury will provide kit for Ospreys' Pro12 team as part of the agreement, as well as the club's Premiership Select, women's, regional age-grade and wheelchair rugby sides.
The Swansea-based club will mark the partnership with the launch of the Canterbury Cup fixture in August, with clubs from around the region to be invited to the event.
Canterbury’s head of sports marketing, Simon Rowe, said: “The Ospreys are a globally recognised brand, whose on pitch performance has enhanced their success in growing the grassroots game. Their local and global ambition reflects our own brand ethos, with both Canterbury and Ospreys rugby determined to thrive and become leaders within the rugby community.”
Canterbury will replace BLK as Ospreys’ kit supplier. The Australian sportswear company was placed into receivership in November and has since seen its association with a number of teams come to an end. Ospreys had signed a five-year extension to its kit deal with BLK last June.
