OlyBet signs up as new basketball league title sponsor

OlyBet, an online gaming and betting operator, has been unveiled as the title sponsor of the new Estonian Latvian Basketball League.

The league will replace the Baltic Basketball League, which was discontinued at the end of the 2017-18 season, and will feature 15 of the top clubs from the two countries.

OlyBet already serves as a commercial partner of both the Latvia and Estonia national basketball teams, and the operator’s managing director Veiko Krünberg said that it had been an “honour to be in the game from day one…as a top supporter of basketball in the Baltic countries”.

He added: “Basketball is one of the most popular sports in both Estonia and Latvia, which is why this comprehensive cooperation will definitely strengthen OlyBet’s position even more as a top sports betting brand in the Baltic states.”
