Italy-based mobile virtual network operator PosteMobile has today (Thursday) been named as the new title sponsor of Lega Basket Serie A, the country’s top tier of club basketball.
The agreement will run for three seasons, from 2016-17 to 2018-19.
The deal covers the main Serie A competition and Final Eight playoffs stage, as well as the Coppa Italia knockout competition.
Reigning champion Pallacanestro Olimpia Milano currently sits top of the league after winning 11 out of 12 games so far this season. The Milan-based team secured the 2015-16 Serie A championship after defeating Pallacanestro Reggiana 4-2 in the best-of-seven final.
