Dutch insurance firm NN Group has agreed a deal to sponsor the 2016 European Athletics Championships, which will be staged in Amsterdam this summer.
NN Group has said the partnership will focus on the running events at the Championships, which take place from July 6-10.
NN Group also sponsors the Rotterdam Marathon and CPC Loop Den Haag races in the Netherlands.
To mark the start of the partnership, Ellen van Langen, an Olympic champion in the 800 metres at the 1992 Games, has been named an event ambassador for Amsterdam 2016.
