The Chinese Football Association has signed a long-term kit manufacturing and equipment partnership with US sportswear giant Nike.
The deal commences immediately and runs until 2026. Nike replaces rival brand Adidas as the CFA’s sportswear partner and China’s national team will begin wearing the firm’s kits at this month’s Asian Cup national team tournament.
China plays its first game in the tournament against Saudi Arabia in Brisbane, Australia on Saturday, January 10.
Additionally, Nike will supply equipment and provide financial support across all levels of Chinese football and its brand will be associated with the Chinese Super League, CFA Cup and the Super Cup club competitions.
Financial terms for the deal were not disclosed.
