The Nigeria Football Federation has entered into a partnership with Nigerian Breweries.
The deal will run for five years and includes the option of an extension. Nigerian Breweries will support the country’s national teams as part of the agreement.
The deal was brokered by the Pamodzi Sports Marketing Company, the NFF’s marketing agency. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but Pamodzi’s chief executive, Mike Itemuagbor, said that Nigerian Breweries will commit a “huge sum”.
Earlier this month, the NFF signed five-year sponsorship deals with soft drinks producer Coca-Cola and financial services provider Wapic Insurance.
Nigeria has qualified for this year’s Fifa World Cup in Russia and will face off against Argentina, Iceland and Croatia in Group D.
