NFL’s Eagles return to automotive sector with Toyota deal

Japanese automotive manufacturer Toyota has entered into a multi-year partnership with NFL American football franchise the Philadelphia Eagles.

As part of the deal, the Philadelphia Business Journal newspaper said Toyota’s branding will feature in the backdrop of Eagles press conferences, while it will receive advertising exposure through LED signage on game days.

The company will also collaborate with the club to organise Player of the Week and Player of the Year awards, which will be voted for by fans and will include prize giveaways. In addition, Toyota’s vehicles will be on display during games at Lincoln Financial Field, the Eagles’ home stadium.

Toyota becomes the Eagles’ first automotive partner since 2008.
