Sterling National Bank has agreed a multi-year sponsorship deal with NFL American football team the New York Jets.
Sterling will serve as the official commercial bank of the Jets. The deal marks the company’s first partnership with a professional sports team.
Sterling will join the Jets Partner Alliance network, a B2B platform encompassing the team’s suite of corporate partners. The network launched in 2014.
“We are very excited about partnering with a team that shares our core values and regional roots,” David Bagatelle, president of New York Metro Markets for Sterling, said. “We anticipate building upon this partnership year-round – beyond football season – to help support the unique needs of the New York Jets and their partnership network.”
