Global recruitment specialist Hays has entered into a three-year partnership with Major League Soccer newcomer New York City Football Club.
Under the agreement, Hays will help the club meet its off-pitch employment needs and benefit from activation across New York City’s digital and social media platforms.
Hays can promote the tie-up through New York City assets including club crest and player imagery and will ensure global employees can engage with the franchise through incentive programmes.
In July last year, Hays signed a similar agreement to become the official recruitment partner of English Premier League champion Manchester City – New York City FC’s parent club in the City Football Group, which also includes recently rebranded Australian A-League team Melbourne City and a minority interest in Japanese J-League club Yokohama F. Marinos.
New York City FC was launched in May 2013 and will play its first game in March 2015.
