NFL American football franchise the Minnesota Vikings has announced a 10-year partnership with medical device company Medtronic and sealed a deal with local service Twin Cities Orthopedics.
As part of the Medtronic deal, which will run from 2015-16 to 2024-25, a new ‘Medtronic Plaza’ will be introduced near the US Bank Stadium, Minnesota’s new arena that is currently under construction.
The franchise hopes that the Medtronic Plaza will provide a place for fans to socialise and celebrate before and after games. The plaza will also be used for other events, such as concerts.
Medtronic will be given further exposure inside the stadium, and the company will also team up with the Vikings in a joint community service programme.
Twin Cities Orthopedics will serve as official orthopedics provider of the Vikings and will become a partner at US Bank Stadium.
