US sportswear brand New Balance has reached a multi-year deal with the Olympic Council of Ireland to become its official apparel and footwear sponsor.
Under the agreement, New Balance will provide performance apparel to the Irish Olympic team competing at both the Sochi 2014 Olympic winter Games and Rio 2016 summer Games.
Additionally, New Balance will supply Irish athletes with warm-up and leisurewear for medal ceremonies, travelling and public appearances.
New Balance has increased its exposure in the UK and Ireland over the past two years through its Warrior brand taking on the kit manufacturing deal for English Premier League football team Liverpool.
