French Ligue 1 football club Nantes has named US sportswear brand New Balance as its new kit supplier.
The length of the agreement was not disclosed but it will begin with the 2018-19 season.
New Balance will produce Nantes’ kit and a range of other products as part of the deal. It will replace UK sportswear brand Umbro as the club’s kit supplier. Umbro's four-year deal with Nantes expires at the end of the current season.
New Balance has a partnership with Nantes’ fellow Ligue 1 club Lille, along with English Premier League team Liverpool, Scottish Premiership champion Celtic, Spanish LaLiga club Sevilla and Portuguese Primeira Liga outfit FC Porto.
Nantes is currently fifth in Ligue 1 after 26 games of the 2017-18 season.
