Namedsport furthers cycling backing with RCS Sport deal

Italian sports nutrition brand Namedsport has entered into a three-year partnership with RCS Sport, under which it will sponsor a number of the road cycling races owned by the sport and media company.

Namedsport will take on title sponsorship of the RCS Sport-organised Strade Bianche (pictured) and Tierreno-Adriatico races, while it has also been named presenting sponsor of the Milan-Sanremo, Milano-Torino, GranPiemonte and Il Lombardia events. The agreement will cover each edition of the races until the end of 2018.

As part of the deal, Namedsport’s branding will be integrated into the official logo of each event.

“These prestigious competitions are the best opportunity for our company to spread the culture of sports nutrition,” Andrea Rosso, managing director and co-founder of Namedsport, said.

Namedsport is also an official sponsor of ‘Grand Tour’ the Giro d’Italia, the 2016 edition of which takes place from May 6-29.
