Confectionary products manufacturer Rakhat JSC and information security software developer Dr. Web have signed on as the latest sponsors of the 2017 winter Universiade multi-sport event, which will be held in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Rakhat JSC, a Kazakh company, will provide 8.5 tonnes of chocolate, waffles and cookies for the event, which will run from January 29 to February 8. Other confectionary products will also be made available.
The packaging of Rakhat JSC’s ‘Kazakhstanskiy’ chocolate bars and ‘Na zdorovya’ cookies will be decorated with Universiade patterns to promote the event.
More than two tonnes of confectionary products are also set to be provided for athletes during the event.
Dr. Web, meanwhile, will provide information security for the Universiade. The Russian company’s services will be used on computers, mobile devices and servers connected with the event.
Dr. Web will provide its latest products to event organisers to provide maximum security protection, with the company’s lead specialists to handle the event’s IT infrastructure.
Last week, soft drinks giant Coca-Cola signed on as an official partner of Almaty 2017.
