MLB’s Nationals engage with Kaiser Permanente

MLB baseball franchise Washington Nationals has signed up healthcare provider Kaiser Permanente of the Mid-Atlantic States as a new sponsor for the 2014 season.

The new partnership is set to be promoted under the message “Live well, be well, and thrive” at the club’s Nationals Park home.

The partnership was launched to coincide with the inaugural Federal Workforce Appreciation Day at Nationals Park on Tuesday.

As part of Public Service Recognition week, Kaiser Permanente and the Nationals highlighted the service of the nation’s federal workers by recognising several representatives during the pregame ceremony prior to the Nationals’ game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Tickets for the game were also discounted by up to 50 per cent for federal employees and their families.
