Not-for-profit credit co-operative Scott Credit Union has entered into a three-year partnership with Major League Baseball franchise the St. Louis Cardinals.
The agreement will cover the remainder of the 2016 MLB season, as well as the 2017 and 2018 campaigns.
Under the agreement, SCU will take on naming rights to the MVP Deck area at the Cardinals’ Busch Stadium. The company will also receive scoreboard advertising exposure and sponsor the club’s promotional giveaway night on August 26.
In addition, the two parties will organise player appearance events and collaborations with Team Fredbird, the Cardinals’ cheerleader group. SCU will also serve as the title sponsor of a Cardinals’ ticketing initiative that provides tickets to young children from the local area. Other ticket promotions will be organised later in the season.
SCU president and chief executive Frank Padak said: “With St. Louis County being part of our field of membership, we are confident that this partnership with the Cardinals will help us continue to grow. This partnership really increases our visibility in our efforts to educate people throughout the area about the great value they get when they choose to do business with us.”
